How could a small spark light up the fervor in another continent? Maracaibo is recognized worldwide as one of the cities with the largest devotee's concentration on Divine Mercy Sunday. More than two hundred thousand believers walk the main streets under the intense heat, of more than 35 degrees Celsius. In the midst of a tense atmosphere in Venezuela, the year 2013 was glimpsed with uncertainty, due to the political and social unrest. However, the concern to register what happens in Maracaibo, state of Zulia, during the Feast of the Divine Mercy and the interest in knowing where this devotion originated; moved the curious spirit of José Luis Matheus (President of the Foundation in charge of organizing this concentration) and MarÃa Goya Sumoza (recognized producer and social communicator); and leads them to document material appropriate to our times, under the vision of the new filmmaker Jesús Reyes Borjas, director and associate producer of the film. The journey begins following the footsteps of "The Secretary of the Divine Mercy," Saint Faustina in Eastern Europe touring over ten cities in Poland, Lithuania and Italy, starting in Maracaibo, Venezuela. During the tour, they also learned about the profound and close relationship of the Polish Pope, Saint John Paul II and the Divine Mercy; and the link of the message received by St. Faustina from Merciful Jesus before World War II, where He showed the great tragedy that would come over Poland, one of the countries most affected by Nazi ambition. There will also be repercussions throughout the world for the ambition of men. It's an interior journey searching to find spiritual recognition, where travelers find answers to their many questions. A message of integration, peace and love; that overlooks color, race, gender and religion, turning the Divine Mercy into a universal language for humanity, managing to capture the coincidences in the world to break the boundaries that divide us and rescue the bridges of compassion and love.
