Why Occupy? is a short documentary style video piece I created from interviews and footage shot on October 15th, 2011 in Providence, RI. This day marked the first large scale action by people supporting the 'Occupy' movement in Rhode Island. I particularly focused my interviews on people representing perspectives that I thought were missing from the mass media portrayal of the movement. The original music in the piece is by local Providence, RI musicians: R.A. Fish, Ben Leadbetter, Alec K. Redfearn, and Brian Knoth. —Anonymous
