Martina is a 14-year old prostitute in a Roman suburb. Her dad hasn't ever acknowledged paternity, mom's a prostitute, and she also has a younger sister. Martina becomes friends with a slightly older boy, Sciu, and a fellow petty criminal. Eventually, a young police officer becomes interested in them and defending them to her superiors.
