"Prima Linea" is a documentary that tells the most dramatic days of the Covid emergency experienced by the city of Piacenza. It wants to pay homage to all those operators, doctors and nurses who have been always on the front line. Piacenza was one of the cities most affected by the Covid-19 and despite many national newspapers did not talk about that, it experienced a huge tragedy, with so many infected and so many people died for the Covid. The hospital in Piacenza was subjected to terrible pressure. Nurses, doctors and health workers worked h24, seeing excruciating scenes and feeling something they had never felt in their lives. They make each other strong, they try to comfort people, to reassure them, but it was very hard. This documentary wants to pay homage to all those operators, doctors and nurses who have been always on the front line, risking their lives to save all of us.
