Nimmuru' movie is about today's younger generation and their tussle with their parents, teacher and society. It is a story of few friends (D (Durgappa), Chaddi, Vinod, Koli, Dinga) who are irresponsible, don't have any goal in their life and are addicted to all the bad habits. Among the friends, the lead D (Durgappa) is in love with his childhood crush Nayana. D and friends always lie and get money from Nayana for their bad habits. Once they even go to police station for drink and drive incident. Nayana is fed up and wants to teach D a lesson and breaks up with him. One of their friends dies due to love failure and boozing. D after love failure takes life seriously and quits all the bad habits and forms a team with his friends and start working for the welfare of his village. They work for helping farmers to market their yield, fight against ration mafia, raise their voice against cow slaughter and win the hearts of their villagers, teacher & parents. In the meanwhile Nayana's relative Chabbi ( Mother's brother), kidnaps her and forcefully marries her... Then the movie is a roller coaster ride with lot of twists and thrills. Will D get back his lost love? Will Nayana be able to escape from Chabbi? Will D & Nayana & his friends survive from Chabbi? Forms the crux of the climax.
