"Bad Blood" is a documentary that shows the deadly effects of a state sponsored COVID profiteering. When a man mysteriously dies after an expensive COVID 19 treatment exclusively offered in one of Western Balkans' most prestigious private hospitals, his family starts an institutional battle to prove that it was not the virus that killed their beloved husband and father, but the man who claimed that he had the magic cure for the vicious pandemic. Fearing that the corruptive ties between the state and the powerful doctor and owner of the Zan Mitrev Hospital will prevent them from revealing the truth, the family reports the case in the Investigative Reporting Lab, a member center of OCCRP based in Skopje, North Macedonia.
