A murderer tries to leave his criminal past in East Helsinki and make a new life for his family In a movie loaded with religious symbology, Ali, a hardened criminal, is sentenced to jail for murder. Shortly afterwards, his girlfriend gives birth to his child. When Ali is released he is determined to leave his criminal past and make a better life for himself and his family.
