Dev Arora is the owner of a very popular cafe known as Cafè Konnect. one day while taking photographs of a cute young woman he saw playing with balloons in the midst of children, he ended up saving another woman, Naari and later took her to his cafe. Shortly after, the two entered a live-in relationship with Dev getting a huge loan following Dev's love instinct for Naari. Café owner Dev's (Sidhant Gupta) girlfriend Naari (Suzanna Mukherjee) left him the night he meant to propose to her. Dev has taken a 2 Crore loan to buy a property where Naari & Dev could live together. Ever since that day, Dev did preserve Naari's belongings, but life for him has taken a back seat. Dev's friend Pinkesh / Pinku (Karan Mehra), a private investigator, has been trying to track down Naari for him. He finds that she is living with Don Jassi (Sharib Hashmi), a reformed gangster. Pinkesh calls Dev to meet Naari at a bar. Months later, Dev visits the bank to mortgage another loan, but the bank is raided by robbers, and while dealing with a crisis, he meets Palak Mehra (Gunjan Malhotra), the same girl he was capturing on his camera, who defends him against a haughty woman trying to falsely accuse him. The two get out, Dev thanks Palak, and asks Pinku to meet up at Velvet Lounge, a starry restaurant. Meanwhile, Palak's friend also arrives there, asking her to meet up at Vintage Lounge. Pinku shows up there alone & says that Dev should forget Naari. Pinku makes up a fake pretext of using the washroom and leaves Dev in the lurch, and Dev doesn't have money to pay. Meanwhile, Palak too does not have money to pay. However, they meet each other in a funny manner, with Palak perceiving him as a chicken-bait and Dev perceiving her as Goddess Lakshmi. Both have a fat meal, but when it comes to payment, Dev tokens away his car keys and Palak her ring, which she wanted to wear off after her fiance left her. They spend the evening together & love it. Dev tells Palak his story with Naari. Dev takes Palak home, but is interrupted by Naari, who comes by to pick her stuff up. She ridicules Palak, who leaves. Dev formally breaks up with Naari & runs after Palak. It is revealed that when Dev was distraught at Naari leaving him, Pinkesh was tracking her in company of Don Jassi. But Pinkesh also had secret romantic feelings for Naari. Pinkesh never told Dev that he was constantly tracking Naari. On the day that Naari turned up at Dev's house, the same morning Pinkesh had witnessed Naari stealing Jassi's car & a suitcase full of money. Pinkesh confronts Naari & warns her that Jassi is a Don, & not like the other folks she has taken for a ride in the past. Pinkesh saves Naari from Jassi's thugs who come around looking for their money. Naari asks Pinkesh to help her return the money to Jassi for a fee of Rs 1 Lakhs. Naari wants to go to Dev's place to pick up her passport. They enter Dev's house when he is not there, but then Dev enters & Naari & Pinkesh hide. Pinkesh calls Dev to tell him that he has found Naari & asks him to come to a bar to get him out of the house. Pinkesh returns the money at Jassi's door, & runs, but is spotted by his goons. Pinkesh & Naari escape, but Pinkesh is caught by Jassi's goon at the bar, when he was meeting Dev. Jassi arrives & tells Pinkesh that Naari had returned an empty suitcase & all the money was gone. It is revealed that Naari met Jassi the same day she walked out on Dev, just when he was about to propose to her. After a whirlwind romance, one day Naari sees Jassi packing Rs 2 Crore in a suitcase for a business deal. They go to a restaurant, where Naari seduces Jassi & knocks him unconscious with a sedative, & runs away with his car & suitcase, trailed by Pinkesh. It is then revealed that while Pinkesh was calling Dev, from inside Dev's house, Naari was calling Jassi (pretending to be someone else) & tells him which bar to go to to find his money (that's how Jassi's goons track Pinkesh at that bar). In front of Jassi, Pinkesh confesses that Naari had hidden the money at Dev's house (& not taken her passport as she had claimed). He says that Naari would have gone back to Dev's house to get the money. (Thats when Naari interrupted the meeting of Dev & Palak). Jassi & Pinkesh enter Dev's house before Dev & Palak get there. Jassi realizes that Naari used to date Dev before him. Jassi hides under the bed, while Palak is alone in the room freshening up. Palak finds money in a bag & transfers it into her own bag, in front of Jassi's eyes. Palak then leaves, quickly followed by Dev. It is later revealed that Palak (at the time of taking the money) thought it was the 2 Crore home loan money that Dev had taken. She stole it, thinking it was Dev's money. Palak needed the money to pay as bribe to secure a government job. Naari goes up to the room to take her money, only to find Jassi, who forgives Naari & asks her to come back to him. Jassi then reveals in flashback that the 2 Crore in his suitcase was fake money. The next morning, Palak realizes her mistake & that she really likes Dev. She goes back to Dev's house to return the money & they both realize its fake money & finally come to terms with what all happened that day. They get married eventually.
