Nandita Das & Divya Jagdale`s Between the Lines, is set in an urban India, where a well educated, affluent couple find themselves caught between modernity and tradition. Maya and Shekhar are a lawyer couple, who have been married for 10 years. Shekhar is a high-profile criminal lawyer, while Maya balances work and life, drafting routine contracts for a law firm. As destiny would have it, they end up arguing on opposite sides of a criminal trial, resulting in the blurring of their personal and professional lives. This is a screening of the play by the same name, with the original cast. Jus Trufs is a small family owned chocolaterie which screens special interest films like Cineplays in an events area. Cineplays are spectacularly shot by theatre artists recreating the magic for this new art form.
