BEHOLD! The cinematic masterpiece directed by Jacob Kelly (who is probably someone's uncle)! Meet Alex White - a totally normal teenage girl who worries about normal things like homework and boys and OH WAIT she can read minds but only when people touch her which seems like a really inconvenient superpower??? Like what if someone accidentally bumps into her at Starbucks and she finds out they haven't showered in three days??? ANYWAY! Alex has somehow attracted the attention of "a powerful agency" (they probably have a really scary acronym like F.E.A.R. or something) who want to "uncover the truth" about... her ability to know what people are thinking when they touch her? Seems like the truth is pretty obvious but whatever floats their mysterious government boat! So this agency sends their TOP SECRET ELITE OPERATIVES to investigate: Steve Wilson (generic name alert!) and Ben Dover (WAIT A MINUTE... BEN DOVER... BEND OVER... did they really...? Oh my god they did). These are apparently "highly trained very skilled operatives" which means they probably know seventeen different ways to kill someone with a paperclip but somehow can't figure out that a teenage girl can read minds. The movie follows Alex as she "discovers everything about herself, her friends, and her powers" which sounds like the most generic character arc ever written. Will she discover she's actually the chosen one? Will her best friend secretly be evil? Will Ben Dover's name continue to be the funniest thing in this entire movie? PLOT TWIST: It's an "Action Comedy" so expect lots of hilarious scenes where Alex accidentally reads someone's mind and finds out they're thinking about pizza or their ex-girlfriend, followed by poorly choreographed fight scenes where the government agents probably trip over their own feet.
