But Who Raped Linda?
For the 81 minute R-rated Mais Qui Donc a Viole Linda? [But Who Raped Linda?]: Marie-France is a young French woman hired to care for Paul Steiner's (Radeck in the English version) invalid daughter, who lives on an island off the Greek coast. When she arrives, Mr. Steiner warns her that his daughters Linda and Olivia are both beset with serious problems: Linda is an invalid, and Olivia is mentally ill, and he insists that there is nothing medical science can do for either of them. The woman soon discovers that Olivia is actually a niece, and that Linda is the result of an extra-marital affair her late mother had. What none of them knows is that the villa is under surveillance by the police, since they believe Steiner killed his missing wife after butchering her lover. The latter event was witnessed by -- and presumably traumatized -- young Olivia, who has become a sex-crazed nymphomaniac. Olivia seduces the faithful, but feeble-minded servant Abdul in order to obtain the key to her uncle's secret room where her Aunt Lorna had so unfortunately been discovered in bed with her lover. There, Olivia lures her psychotic uncle to pay for his misdeeds -- and then dispatches poor Abdul as an inconvenient witness. Her cousin Linda, having witnessed her seduction of Abdul, has already ended her own sad existence -- leaving Marie-France to sort things out, as the film comes to a bizarre end. Also known as Hot Nights of Linda, and Erotic Dreams. A longer French hardcore version was released as Les Nuits Brulantes de Linda [Brutal Nights of Linda]. Note that several characters listed in the cast may appear in the French hardcore version, but do not appear in this release.
