Carmo, Hit the Road

Edgy, hard as nails Brazilian belle Carmo would rather die than spend another day in her hellhole hometown. Her escape route materializes in the unlikely shape of Marco, a lonesome, wheelchair-bound small-time criminal from Spain whose dilapidated truck loaded with smuggled goods gets stolen by a pair of thuggish border bandidos. Two paradigm misfits, Carmo and Marco forge an improbable partnership as they engage in a cat and mouse chase with the bandits in a lawless, reckless and ultimately romantic journey through the godforsaken roads that twist and turn across the heart of South America.
