Catching Faith

Batman and Nightwing discover that Poison Ivy and Floronic Man teamed up and stolen information from S.T.A.R. labs about Bio-Restorative Project and Swamp Thing. Batman and Nightwing reluctantly decide to look for Harley Quinn to find out where Poison Ivy and Floronic Man are hiding. However, Harley has gone off the grid since getting paroled. Batman leaves finding Harley to Nightwing while Batman figures out what Poison Ivy and Floronic Man are up to. At A.R.G.U.S. headquarters, Batman asks Sarge Steel about the kidnapping of a scientist named Dr. Harold Goldblum who has a background in chemistry, botany and biological warfare. However, Sarge says that A.R.G.U.S do not have any viable leads. Nightwing finds Harley working as a waitress at the Superbabes restaurant where waitresses are dressed as superheroes and super villains. Nightwing follows Harley to Harley's place and asks for help to find Poison Ivy. Harley is not willing to help Nightwing as Harley doesn't want to deal with any superheroes and super villains and wants to live a normal life. Nightwing questions Harley about working as a waitress for minimum wage instead of using psychiatric training. Nightwing informs Harley that since Harley has not reported to parole officer in months, Nightwing could drag Harley to jail. Nightwing and Harley fight until Harlry knocks Nightwing unconscious with a weak dose of Joker Gas. Meanwhile, Sarge shows Batman the home of Goldblum where Goldblum was kidnapped and Batman finds evidence that Floronic Man had been there. Nightwing wakes up and is tied to a bed. Harley shows Nightwing a pile of rejection letters and that Harley's criminal past prevents Harley from getting rehired as a psychiatrist. Eventually, Nightwing and Harley sleep together. Poison Ivy is kissing Goldblum every six hours to control Glldblum with Poison Ivy's pheromones. Floronic Man and Poison Ivy talk about humanity's negative environmental impact and Floronic Man says that once the virus is activated every person on the planet will have a vested interest in going green. Nightwing and Harley are tickling each other until Batman walks in and Harley agrees to help. Batman has concluded that Floronic Man and Poison Ivy are using Goldblum to replicate the process that turned Holland into Swamp Thing but as a virus version that will turn everyone into plant hybrids. Harley leads Batman and Nightwing to a popular hangout for henchmen and gets the location of Poison Ivy from Shrubby. Batman, Nightwing and Harley fight the henchmen to escape the hideout. Batman, Nightwing and Harley head to Bludhaven where Poison Ivy is saddened to see Harley helping Batman. Floronic Man fatally wounds Goldblum before escaping with Poison Ivy as the lab catches fire. However, the dying Goldblum reveals that Floronic Man and Poison Ivy are heading to Wainwright Swamp in Louisiana. Contacting A.R.G.U.S., Batman, Nightwing, and Harley head to Louisiana to stop the plan since the virus have the potential to kill all life on Earth. Harley convinces Poison Ivy to stop the plan. Floronic man fights and defeats everyone and proceeds to execute the plan. Swamp Thing appears, informing Floronic Man that he would threaten the Green with his concoction. However, Swamp Thing doesn't interfere. Harley points out that Floronic Man is a plant and asks for a match. Grateful, Batman and Nightwing kiss Harley on the cheek and Batman sets Floronic Man on fire. In a post-credits scene, Harleen Quinzel now has a reality television game show called "Ask Dr. Quinzel" where contestants run an elaborate obstacle course to win a year of professional therapy.
