Channeling

Yusuf is a middle-aged musician who lives in a city alone and lost his breath of life. He lost his daughter and wife in a traffic accident and continues his quiet life away from his family between his home and the music studio. While he lives routinely as isolated from his previous wide relationships, he gets in a quandary with the news he received about an asteroid crash. He cant find people around to share the impact of the news on his life. So, Yusuf defeated by the loneliness wants to visit his family living in a village. His family members are old people living on their own in the village. They got used to the absence of Yusuf who left his family at earlier ages to take education. Despite the news, they continue their lives as it was. This visit of their son doesnt change anything but their happiness. During the visit of Yusuf to his rural life and roots in an unplanned way, the different behaviors of rural people about the news than the city people attract his attention. His conversations with his old friend Ahmet, who always stayed in the village, make him think more deeply about these different attitudes. Yusuf, who really got used to his previous life he had been away for a long time, only wants to visit the city he hasnt heard about instead of returning there permanently. He gets back to his family after staying shorter than he planned in the city where he couldnt find anything belonging to him.
