Two guys CLIFF and ZAMANI sit in a booth at a London bar. Zamani is excited about returning to South Africa where he will finish his book that he is sure will be a best seller. Cliff is happy for his friend and talks about the importance of doing anything to pursue what it is you want and love. Zamani is excited about his book and has a number of opening lines that he reads out to Cliff wanting his opinion. At the same time a young waitress QUEEN seems flustered as she cleans up tables. She comes to their table as Cliff reads out his first lines. She chuckles hearing them but unbeknownst to Zamani and Queen, when Cliff lays his eyes on Queen he is mesmerized by her beauty. "When he laid eyes on her, he did not only know that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, but he also wanted the rest of his life to start in that very moment." He says with his eyes peeled on Queen. Zamani and Queen look at Cliff taken by that line. Queen and Cliff's eyes meet "He had instantly fallen in love with her" Queen smiles "...and she smiled because she felt it too" he says. An excited yet oblivious Zamani writes down the words. That is definitely his opening line. ONE YEAR LATER Cliff and Queen are at the airport as Queen is about to return to South Africa. Cliff professes his love for Queen who tells him she loves him too. They embrace and kiss and Cliff sadly watches Queen walk away. Cliff starts walking away sadly and as he does; he sees a couple kissing he stops. MOMENTS LATER Cliff runs past the security towards the boarding gates, he bumps into some people, apologizes, and runs on as security officers run after him. In the distance in a queue ready to board is Queen. Cliff sees her but the security officers capture him before he gets to her. He calls out her name and she looks back as do the other people who are wondering what the commotion is about. "Will you marry me" he shouts. Everyone looks at him, then at her as she starts running to where he is pleading the officers to let him go. Queen reaches Cliff; the officers reluctantly let him go but stand next to him as everyone watches with bated breath. Cliff straightens himself up then goes down on his knees and asks Queen to marry him. Queen is elated and nods her head; everyone cheers as the two embrace. Cliff is beside himself but his joy is cut short when Queen advises him that she cannot accept his proposal without her family's blessing. Cliff is taken aback but before she can give more details, her name is called out for last call and she has to rush as the plane is about to leave. Queen rushes off and Cliff watches as the plane takes off. Cut to a plane landing in South Africa. An excited Cliff walks through the airport door and looks around but there is no one there waiting for him. He finds a Wi-Fi hot-spot and checks his phone and sees a message from his friend Zamani telling him he will be 30 minutes late Cliff decides to take a seat. We see Zamani in a car workshop wearing overalls as he talks to another guy Vusi. Vusi is begging Zamani to release his car as he needs it to run around for his upcoming theatre show as well as for auditions but Zamani tells him he can only release the car once Vusi makes a payment. Vusi tries begging but Zamani is not budging. Vusi ends up leaving and Zamani rushes out to go pick Cliff. At Queen's family home, the family is in high spirits. Mr Zulu Queen's father is sitting with Queen, Queen's sister Pearl and the Mayor who speaks highly of her prized bull that she will be entering into a competition. Aunt B walks in and asks Queen and Pearl to come with her as they need to do their dress fittings. As the three walk out, Queen forgets her phone on the sofa and it flashes with caller ID Cliff. Back at the airport Cliff sighs as his call to Queen goes to voice mail, he wants to call again when a woman in a rush bumps into him and his phone falls and crushes. As he settles down to try switching on his phone someone taps him on his shoulder. Its Agent Joey who asks him to follow him for a random search. Agent Joey questions Cliff as he had a tip off that a guy fitting Cliff's description is smuggling drugs. Cliff denies these allegations and is saved when another agent informs Agent Joey that he got the wrong guy. In Agent Joey trying to save face he inquires about Cliff's visit and Cliff tells him he came to ask for his girlfriend's hand in marriage. When he mentions the name Zulu Agent Joey recognizes that it is Mr Zulu the ex-police commissioner. Cliff bemoans the fact that his phone is crushed and now he does not know how he will find the Zulu residence and Agent Joey gives him the address in exchange of him not mentioning the interrogation. Before they part ways Agent Joey bemoans the fact that he feels no one takes him seriously and Cliff encourages him to go after what he wants and that he should jump on the next case presented to him. Cliff is released and is relieved when he finds Zamani waiting for him. He tells Zamani he wants to go to Queen's house immediately and Zamani is only happy to accompany him and along the way Zamani tells Cliff how he has not been able to write as he has writer's block. Cliff encourages him not to give up. MR Zulu, Aunt B, Uncle Benny, Queen, and Pearl are at the table having lunch talking when Zolisa a naughty 10-year-old who is Aunt B's grandchild walks in and announces that there is someone who has come to marry Queen. The family is shocked and Queen even more when Zamani and Cliff walk in. Cliff on seeing Queen beams and apologizes to the family for coming without warning . He tells them he has come to ask for the family's blessing to make Queen his wife. Him and Zamani are taken aback when they are turned away by Uncle Benny who advises them to come back with a malume to represent Cliff and a letter stating his intentions. Cliff asks Zamani if he can ask one of his uncles to assist but with such short notice Zamani tells him it will not be possible. Its then that Zamani remembers Vusi and the two meet with him and ask him if he can accompany them as the malume. Vusi is a bit apprehensive but changes his mind when Zamani offers him his car back in exchange for his service. The trio make their way to the Zulu residence where Vusi and Zamani enter the house to speak to the family. Things take a turn when Zamani mentions that Cliff wants to take Queen back to London and he would appreciate if they skipped some of the steps and start with negotiations immediately. Mr Zulu who was silent is triggered and feels disrespected, he orders for Cliff to be called in and when he comes in Mr Zulu tells him that the only way, he can get his blessing is if he brought 100 cows in 7 days. He also mentions the fact that the wedding preparations that were underway will be continuing as planned. Cliff initially thinks it's an easy feat but is shocked when he finds out the price of a cow. He is further taken aback when Vusi and Zamani raise their concern about the fact that there is a wedding being prepared for and they think its Queen's wedding and that Mr Zulu may have arranged another man for her. A desperate Cliff not wanting to lose the love of his life tells Vusi and Zamani he is willing to clear his savings but things do not work out as he is only able to get money transferred after 10 days. With their backs against the wall the trio decide to find other ways to get the cows. Vusi comes up with the brilliant plan of them posing as film makers looking for cows to shoot. It's a brilliant plan but farmers shut doors in their faces. Mr Bhebhe however who is a huge Vusi fan agrees to loan them his 40 cows. The trio even gets an old truck to transport the cows and they go straight to Mr Zulu's farm. Mr Zulu is shocked at their progress and in the background, Queen tries getting hold of Cliff to no avail. With 60 cows to go and no farmers willing to help the trio has to come up with another plan. Cliff on hearing Zamani and Vusi talking about robbing a bank comes up with the idea of doing a cattle heist. Vusi and Zamani are against it but he begs them to help him and convinces them that they are only borrowing the cows and once he gets the blessing, they will return the cows. The trio now on the same page have to come up with ways of carrying out the heist. Cliff remembers Agent Joey mentioning that he sets up roadblocks. They decide to set up their own roadblock which will be manned by Vusi while Zamani and Cliff steal grazing cows on the stretch between the roadblocks. It's a perfect plan and they manage to pull it off before Agent Joey catches them and are able to get 20 more cows. The trio again get back to the drawing board and Zamani remembering someone at the workshop mentioning a party that Mrs Botha with be throwing suggests they steal cows during the party. Zamani and Cliff pose as waiters while Vusi after canceling the entertainers of the day comes in as the replacement entertainer. Everything is going according to plan but then Vusi freezes on stage and Cliff has to go back to encourage him. Vusi eventually finds his voice but Cliff in his rush to get to Zamani who is at the barn forgets the bag with the equipment to break the locks. The two end up driving the truck through the gate and unbeknownst to them the truck is damaged. Alarms are raised but by the time Agent Joey gets to the mayor's house Zamani and Cliff have already gotten away. The trio is stoked that they are making head way and only have 20 cows to go before they reach their target. Vusi decides to teach Cliff Zulu and as he does Zamani starts writing again. Back at the Zulu residence the wedding preparations are in full swing and everyone except Queen is excited and worries as she is still unable to get hold of Cliff. The trio with only 20 cows to go again go back to the drawing board and identify a target farmer who will be hosting an auction. They put muti in the drinks at the auction and once everyone is asleep they steal the cows. Agent Joey who had come to speak to the farmer to alert him about the cow thefts rushes to the farm a little too late as the trio has already escaped. Agent Joey is elated when the captain advises him that because of the increased robberies he will be getting more men to assist him and that he can put up roadblocks. He feels he will crack the case now. The trio are overjoyed as they take the last batch of cows to Mr Zulu's house but are shocked when Mr Zulu tells them they are one cow short and they only have 12 hours to the deadline. The trio drive back but the truck breaks down. Frustrated Cliff blames Vusi and Zamani for the oversight and tells them it's because of them he may be losing the love of his life. The trio get into a fight, Zamani calls Cliff out telling him they put their lives on hold to help him yet Cliff did not bother reading his book to give notes. Vusi feels the same saying he could have been selling his show tickets but he sacrificed that to help Cliff but Cliff doesn't seem to realize that. At that the trio all riled up go their separate ways. Cliff goes back to the Zulu residence hoping to have a word with Queen but he is unable to speak to her as Mr Zulu walks in as she peeps out the window. She however manages to throw down a letter she had written to him which upon reading it, Cliff decides he cannot give up. Agent Joey sees the broken-down truck and stops to inspect. There is no one in the car but he finds Zamani's notebook and Vusi's poster which he takes. At the Zulu residence, Queen cries to her father begging him to give Cliff a chance with the 99 cows but Mr Zulu tells her he needs Cliff to deliver his end of the bargain. The next day Agent Joey pays Vusi a visit. He questions him about the cow thefts and about the night of the party and the fact that he was the one who ended up being the entertainer. Vusi tells him he got a call from his agent and Agent Joey cannot further accuse him as he has nothing else against him. As agent Joey leaves, he tells Vusi that his show sold out which makes Vusi happy. Agent Joey pays Zamani a visit at the workshop and questions him about the truck. Before Zamani can deny anything, he presents the notebook to him but Zamani wiggles himself out of the situation by telling Agent Joey the truck belongs to Mr Bhebhe and he was fixing the truck for him. They call Mr Bhebhe who confirms Zamani's claims. With no evidence agent Joey leaves and before he does, he tells Zamani that his book must be really good as someone scored him a 9/10. Zamani realizes that Cliff actually read the book and gave notes as he had promised. 6 hours before the deadline Cliff sits by the seaside trying to think of a way to get the last cow. Zamani and Vusi accost him and they all apologizes to each other. Vusi and Zamani tell Cliff they will help him as they have realized their dreams thanks to Cliff. Cliff is excited and relieved; they decide that the last cow will have to be the mayor's prized bull which was separated from the other cows they stole. With the police having erected roadblocks everywhere they need to come up with a plan. Cliff meets up with agent Joey and speaks cryptically about the prized bull which makes Agent Joey realize that the mayor's house is their next target. He calls the other policemen so they head to the mayor's house. An excited Agent Joey and the other cops arrive at the mayor's house, but the bull and trio are nowhere in sight. Agent Joey is bummed. Meanwhile the trio manage to tranquilize the guard at the Mayor's house and manage to steal the bull and putting it in Vusi's car. At the Zulu residence, its celebrations all round as a groom stands in a tent full of people as his bride and her maidens make their way to him. Just before the proceedings start, they hear a loud hoot and everyone is shocked when its Vusi's car drives in and parks next to the tent and in it are Vusi. Zamani, Cliff, and the bull. They get out and Cliff approaches Mr Zulu declares his love for Queen and tells Mr Zulu he has brought the last cow as per his request and asks for the blessing. Before Mr Zulu can speak, Joey, the police and the mayor arrive and surround the tent. Agent Joey accosts Cliff accusing him of being the mastermind behind the cow thefts. Cliff does not deny anything, he takes full responsibility. Zamani and Vusi also step forward and tell Agent Joey they too were involved. The crowd is shocked when Mr Zulu also steps forward and takes responsibility as it was because of the near impossible task he gave Cliff that all this happened. He offers to pay everyone back. The mayor is touched and says she is dropping the charges as she will be getting her cows back. The other farmers also follow suit. The mayor applauds agent Joey for solving the case and promises to recommend a promotion for him for an astounding job. Everyone is happy. Mr Zulu then announces that they were in the middle of a wedding and that the groom was about to unveil his bride. Cliff rushes to unveil the bride as he still thinks its Queen but is surprised when the bride is Pearl. He is pointed to Queen who is in tears touched by his boldness and declaration and the two lovers embrace. The mayor, the police, Agent Joey, Aunt B, Uncles, Zolisa, Vusi, Zamani, Pearl, Cliff , Queen, and other guests gather around as Mr. Zulu gives his full blessing and bestows a name on Cliff - "Ihhashi Elimhlophe"... Cliff ponders for a moment and then says: White Horse.

They get out and Cliff approaches Mr Zulu declares his love for Queen and tells Mr Zulu he has brought the last cow as per his request and asks for the blessing. Before Mr Zulu can speak, Joey, the police and the mayor arrive and surround the tent. Agent Joey accosts Cliff accusing him of being the mastermind behind the cow thefts.
Cliff does not deny anything, he takes full responsibility. Zamani and Vusi also step forward and tell Agent Joey they too were involved. The crowd is shocked when Mr Zulu also steps forward and takes responsibility as it was because of the near impossible task he gave Cliff that all this happened.
He offers to pay everyone back. The mayor is touched and says she is dropping the charges as she will be getting her cows back. The other farmers also follow suit.
The mayor applauds agent Joey for solving the case and promises to recommend a promotion for him for an astounding job. Everyone is happy. Mr Zulu then announces that they were in the middle of a wedding and that the groom was about to unveil his bride.
Cliff rushes to unveil the bride as he still thinks its Queen but is surprised when the bride is Pearl. He is pointed to Queen who is in tears touched by his boldness and declaration and the two lovers embrace.
