Best friends Tori, Gwen, and Sam are stuck in entry-level jobs at Marty's Pay Day Loan, enduring low wages, sexism, and a terrible boss. They have joked for years about killing Marty, but their fantasy becomes a nightmare when he turns up dead in a Santa suit just hours before an in-store Christmas promotion. Afraid their long-running complaints will make them prime suspects, the women hide the body and keep the business running as if nothing happened. As customers, coworkers, security, and unexpected visitors crowd the store, every new complication threatens to expose their improvised cover-up. Bound by a homicide and forced to rely on one another, Tori, Gwen, and Sam scramble to uncover what really happened, avoid jail, and survive the most chaotic Christmas of their lives.
