She discovers how different the role for women is there, and he fights the old tradition refusing to marry a princess. Lissy Licht, an acclaimed opera singer, comes to visit her uncle, Professor Ferdinand Licht in Vienna, and falls in love with one of his pupils, a charming Asian. What SHE does not know is that Sou is the Prince of Javora and what HE does not know is that she is a world famous singer. After singing together on stage and discovering each other's personalities, they decide to marry. Lissy follows Sou to Javora but despite the love of her husband, the birth of Chrysanthème, their little girl, and the beauty of her host country, she can't be happy.
