A travel journalist embarks on an ambitious quest to reach a letter to its intended owner, written three decades ago by a forlorn lover. Shreya, a writer is on a visit to India from the US, to meet her childhood governess, who is convalescing. Browsing through an old book she finds a letter, tucked away inside the cover of a book written three decades ago, by a woman Janaki to her lover Ram, beseeching him to meet her one last time before fate separated them forever. Saddened and intrigued by the contents of the letter Shreya, is first posed with the question, "Did Janaki and Shriram unite or their fate had willed other wise? Sensing a beautiful concept for a story, she thus, embarks on a journey to to reach the letter to its intended owner and see where their love stood in the present day. But it was not an easy task, to find someone who, she knew, might not even exist. But she is determined to see the story to its logical end.
