Dharau

Dharau follows Shivaanand, known as Shiva, a young boy deeply attached to his beloved cow. When Dharau mysteriously disappears after a village festival, Shiva searches tirelessly through the village and forests and turns to the police, but his pleas go unheard. To him, Dharau is more than an animal; she is a mother figure who has nurtured and protected him. As his emotional appeal on social media gains attention, his personal search grows into a nationwide movement, bringing issues of cattle smuggling, religious and political tensions, and cow protection into focus.
