Dheerudu is a dubbed version of the Tamil film - Pattathu Yaanai. Santhanam, a well-known traditional cook, makes a living by taking orders for marriage functions. Fate intervenes when he is forced to take an order for a local goon. Enter Vishal and his four friends, who come to work for him as junior cooks and offer to help. But, things don`t go as expected which lands Santhanam into even more trouble. The story then moves ahead where Vishal and his friends have plans of opening a grand restaurant with all the money they fleeced. And here begins the main story. Add to that, a bubbly-romance between the lead pair - Vishal and Aishwarya.
