In August, in a deserted Athens, a man and a woman meet and have a brief romantic relationship. In August, the city of Athens is left to it's solitary and crazy wandering people. A melancholic teacher, falls in love with a girl, who's waiting for her meeting with a mysterious lover, during the full-moon of the month. However, this year, the full-moon opposition happens the 1st of August, so there will be for her a second chance, 29 days later. —c. In the heart of a long and dry Athenian summer, against the backdrop of an eerily vacant city in sultry August, sad-eyed dreamer and eccentric singing teacher Petros finds himself meandering through the quiet, once-bustling streets. However, as Petros enjoys the sweltering urban solitude, a chance encounter with kindred spirit Anna, an incurable romantic obsessed with Fyodor Dostoevsky's White Nights, holds a surprise. Now, two perfect strangers embark on a sentimental journey of unregulated emotions. And, unable to predict the outcome, not one but two August moons have the final say. —Nick Riganas
