Dushta is an out and out love story of Isha and Paathi. Isha is in love with Paathi from the day she is born. But it`s not an easy love story as Paathi`s family is dead against Isha and his mother. Though there are confrontantions between Paathi`s family and Isha constantly throughout the film, yet Isha manages to elope with Paathi not only to save her from the clutches of her family but also to start a fresh lease of life. However Paathi`s family who gets humiliated by this incident decides to kill both of them. What all do the lovers face next forms the crux of the film.
