Former special operative and private contractor Chris tries to start a new life, leaving the past behind. He spends his days in the gym, trying to forget about his old sins and losses. However, his quiet life is interrupted when he receives a call from an old brother in arms, Chester. He offers Chris to take part in a job, that will make them rich. Even though Chris denies at first, after a series of thoughts and flashbacks he realizes - that this could be his opportunity to start a new life. Chris and Chester setup a meeting in Frankfurt. Chester offers Chris "one last contract" - to escort an important client, Russian hacker Nikolai, who has developed dangerous software capable of breaching any security protocols. The task seems simple: meet the client, ensure his safety and hand him over to government representatives. In return, the team will receive a huge reward that will allow each of them to start a new life. Chris, despite his doubts, agrees. But now the two operatives must gather a team to ensure success of the mission. They visit Choppa, another long-forgotten brother in arms. But after a short dialogue it becomes clear - Choppa wont be able to participate. Chris and Chester make way to Budapest, where they find Ren - former marine, who made friends with Chris at boot camp. Ren is in desperate need of money, so he agrees to join with no doubt. After Budapest Chris and Chester make their way to Chernozhia, a fictional Eastern European country, where the meeting with the Client will take place. On their way the team stops by a hideout of their old comrade: Krakow, an eccentric and impulsive Russian. After a series of jokes and dialogues, the team goes on to gather and prepare their weapons and equipment. For this stage they are joined by Ren. The team is gathered, the gear is ready. Now comes the time of the mission. Nikolai arrives at a local airport, and is met by the four men. They quickly put him in to their armored SUV and make their way to designated meeting spot. On their way, Nikolai receives a phone call from a potential buyer of his software. For the team members it becomes clear that Nikolai is no simple hacker, and the software he developed - poses great threat and great fortune at the same time. While thee other three members keep true to their job, Ren decides to take advantage of the situation, and sneakily pings their location to local gang leader, in hopes of making a better deal. As team arrives at the meeting location, Chester makes way to a sniper spot, to ensure safety of the surroundings. The rest of the team await signal, and as soon as everything seems clear, they make their way to the spot. Two NSA agents are awaiting. Nikolai makes his way towards the agents, while the four operatives provide cover and security around the perimeter. During the meeting with NSA Agents, the situation gets out of control. Ren spots the gang leader, that he has previously pinged. As planned with the bandits, Ren makes way towards Chris and takes him hostage. No one notices, except for Chester, but he does not know how to react. While the situation remains confusing, Chester spots a bandit in his sniper scope. He reports to thee rest of the team and takes a shot. A shootout ensues, during which Nikolai is killed, and the team is drawn into chaos. Chris knocks out Ren, but the traitor manages to escape, while the rest of the team shift their attention towards Nikolai's body and the microchip, left on the ground. Chris, Chester and Krakow are forced to flee, saving the chip and their lives. On their way to Krakow's riverside hideout, the team is faced with doubts internal conflicts. They board a boat, prepared by Krakow in advance, but as they depart, Chris spots unknown boat chasing them. A shootout occurs, in which the bandit boat is destroyed and the morale of the operatives raises with this small victory. But not everything is as great as it seems. Ren knew the retreat spot, and knew which route the operatives will take. So he finds a sniper position in the woods, armed with the sniper rifle, that Chester left at the meeting spot. Once the target is in scope - Ren makes a shot. Krakow is seriously wounded and falls out of the boat. Chris and Chester suppress Ren's position with heavy fire, forcing him to flee. Once it was clear, Chris sails towards Krakow's body. He is floating in the river, bleeding. Chris pulls him out of the water and performs CPR. Krakow is stabilized. Chester and Chris sail towards the shore, setting up a camp fire to take a break and let Krakow rest. While the team is at rest, Chris makes a decision to destroy the microchip. He throws it in to the fire, symbolically completing their mission and leaving the past behind. After the events Chris undergoes interrogation by NSA agents about the mission, but ultimately is released, since the microchip has been destroyed. Outside of the compound he is met with Chester, who picks him up. During the last scene Chris is brought by Chester to a compound, where they find Ren. Chris then follows and sneaks up on Ren, delivering the final revenge for Ren's setup and wounding of Krakow.
