A man with a super 8mm camera reacts to the news of the attack on the Twin Towers by filming everything around him. During the week of the attack, I was in Munich. I was studying German at a language school. Suddenly, classes were interrupted and all the students were called to watch on television the images of the planes destroying the Twin Towers. I had a Super 8mm camera and decided to create a film as an emotional reaction to everything that was happening at that time. The newspapers and television were talking about international terrorism, and the war on terror. Everyone had the impression of entering a new era, undefined and unknown. This film imagines a comparison between a terrorist attack and the experience of epilepsy. A man and a woman are filmed at the moment in which an undefinable force (epilepsy) takes over their bodies. The film contains images of war cemeteries, flowers and candles commemorating the attack on the Twin Towers. The film was kept secret for a long time, then it was edited in this form in June 2024. The film editing process was completed in early July. "Twin Falls 2001-2024" is a reaction to the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
