The Immenhof is in an economically precarious situation. While Dalli wants to borrow money from a friend, Alexander wants to open a riding hotel. Since they cannot agree, Alexander terminates his lease. Dalli, the owner of the Immenhof, and the tenant Alexander have become a happy couple. They soon want to get married, much to the delight of Alexander's bright twin daughters Billy and Bobby. But then dark clouds gather over the Immenhof: A loan has to be repaid. When Alexander wants to turn the farm into a lucrative vacation pension against Dalli's wishes, a serious dispute arises. Offended, Alexander leaves the farm with his children. The young couple's happiness threatens to come to an end before it has even really begun. —ARD
