Two brothers from a mountain village join Ottoman forces at Gallipoli in 1915. One excels as a sniper against invaders, while the other struggles with trench warfare as enemy forces begin landing. April, 1915. First World War in Canakkale, Ottoman Empire. Two brothers leave their mountain village to fight on the front line. One is an experienced sniper fighting for Ottomans against the invasion, while his brother finds it much tougher to cope with life in the trenches. Meanwhile, landing of the occupation forces in the shores of Gallipoli has begun... —nitorch Muhsin, a veteran of the Balkan War conflict, decides to voluntarily re-enlist in the Turkish army to assist his younger brother Hasan, who has been conscripted to defend their land from the invading Allied armies. Along their journey through the trenches, they encounter nurse Behice, who provides them comfort when all else around them seems so dark. Upon realizing the effectiveness of Australian snipers, the Turkish army generals set about an effective retaliation, entrusting Muhsin with the special mission of taking out the key Allied military personnel via sniper rifle. The British further retaliate by bringing in a specialist Australian sniper to do likewise against the Turks. —Canon y mus
