Give Me Pity!
Father Javier belongs to a trio of excommunicated priests who hunt the possessed down to exorcise them under their own terms. But when the only way to crush Evil is by becoming something even worse, not even God is on our side. Father Javier lives a fractured existence: he visits families that claim to have witnessed miracles or even the Devil at work, and his duty is to debunk the sightings, to give them a rational explanation. But every time he gets closer to the demonic, Javier "loses time." And when he regains consciousness, he discovers that the families he was helping have been brutally murdered. Desperate to keep his sanity, Javier finds a connection in every crime scene- a symbol belonging to a congregation of outcast priests who devote their lives to hunt the possessed down to exorcise [or exterminate] them under their own terms. Convinced that they are the actual murderers, Javier becomes obsessed with their existence until he comes face to face with Father Marcos and Sister Helena, who give the feverish man one final choice- Father Javier can keep struggling, trying to understand the abominations that are infecting the world of the real, or he can join them in the descent of becoming a blasphemous guardian, the necessary evil- a monster's monster.
