The film begins with an introduction to the birth of Pakistan and highlights the role of both Bengali and non-Bengali leadership and the complex geographic nature. The issue of sense of the economic disparity between East and West Pakistan is covered with historical perspective and the developments which took place after 1947 in East Pakistan. Language issue which started from the declaration of Urdu as State language by the founder of the nation Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the rise of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman after the demise of Prime Minister Hussain Shaheed Suhrawardy. The politics of South Asia has been highlighted especially the conflict that eventually led to the 1965 war and the Indian intervention into East Pakistan especially gaining momentum after defeat in the Sino-Indian war 1962. The 6 Points of Awami League were put forward in 1966 after the 1965 War, their background and impact, the Agartala Conspiracy Case, its reality, political exploitation, and ramifications. The handing over of power by President Field Marshall Ayub Khan to General Agha Mohammad Yayha Khan, transitioning to the Legal Framework Order of 1970 (LFO 1970), the sincerity of intent and the legal flaws are highlighted post which the country went into the longest election campaign of 9 months, allowing Awami League to adopt 6 Points as its election manifesto and its political outcome. Cumulative impact of language issue, perception of economic disparity and distribution of military resources during 1965 War, the 6 Points, Agartala conspiracy case and its demise under political exigency and devastation of cyclone in southern East Pakistan on the Elections in Dec 1970. Post elections political impasse, the role of Z.A. Bhutto, Sheikh Mujib and Gen Yahya, Postponement of National Assembly session and eruption of violence under incitement by Awami league. Constant Indian intervention in East Pakistan, the events of Indian Airlines Plane hijack Jan 1971 and role of ZA Bhutto, Sheikh Mujib and AL leadership's role in inciting emotions and then inciting violence during 25-Day Riots that led to the creation of a state within State by Awami League during 25-Day Riots. Parades, checkpoints, violence against West Pakistanis, Biharis and pro-Pakistan Bengalis, Chittagong riots, attack of Comilla Garrison, the role of the pro-AL press. Inducing a response from the state to restore order. There is a brief discussion on Operation Search Light with details and factual analysis of the Dhaka University incident, the establishment of Mukti Bahini training camps in India, violence, killings, subversion by Mukti Bahinis, Indian Armed forces personnel deployed in Mukti Bahini ranks, refugee issue crafted by India to build a case for military intervention and cover Mukti Bahini training camps, discussion on misinformation spread out by various entities and some objective discussion over the same with a contemporary view by experts.
