Ganya, a devotee of Lord Vithhala faces a lot of suspicion and accusation from his fellow villagers on infroming them about the God having spoken to him. During all of this Ganya loses his land to the money lender and is drowning in a debt. To recover from it his goes to Mumbai and participates in a music competition. To his surprise, when he returns to his village he learns that there was a Ganya staying in his house who made everything right, got rid of the accusations and took back his ancestral land from the money lender.
