Harvest of Faith - The Avi Briah Story
Dubbed in : English ( Original )
When nineteen-year-old Avi Briah watches her parents murdered in a civil war between a godless regime and the faithful, she flees across a shattered America with only her father's Bible and revolver. In a near-future America torn apart by civil war between an ultra-liberal regime and conservative Christians, nineteen-year-old AVI BRIAH watches her parents executed in the street. Armed with nothing but her father's worn Bible, his revolver, and a childhood promise of a better life on the California coast, she flees the burning city alone. Her journey west becomes a crucible. She survives armed attackers in the desert, confronts a violent religious sect that twists Scripture into justification for cruelty, and battles the desert itself — starving, dehydrated, hunted by coyotes, nearly killed by a scorpion as she sleeps. Along the way, she is sustained by the kindness of strangers: a farming family who shelters her in the tight-knit town of Harmony Creek, a solitary mechanic named Jedidiah, and a mysterious drifting musician named Silas who vanishes as inexplicably as he appeared — leaving Avi to wonder if she's met an angel. When Avi finally reaches the Pacific coast, she finds refuge in a small conservative Christian community and takes a job on a struggling horse ranch owned by the widow MARTHA COLE. There she falls in love with CALEB REYES, a gentle carpenter and fellow widower. Their courtship blossoms into marriage, and together they begin taking in orphaned, war-traumatized children — starting with a frightened girl named Sarah and a mute boy named Thomas — combining practical skills, horse therapy, and unwavering faith to heal broken lives. Their small ministry grows into a movement: The Billion Soul Harvest — a vision, delivered through a mysterious missionary named Elder Silas (who bears an uncanny resemblance to the drifter from the road), of a nationwide spiritual awakening funded in part by anonymous benefactors known only as "The Half-Brothers." Avi and Caleb weather internal conflict, external persecution, financial collapse, and natural disaster, each time returning to prayer and community to rebuild stronger than before.
