Abel returns home after graduating and working in the US for 10 years and joins the Tanzanian corporate world where his ethics and morals are tested, and forced to make choices about the person he wants to become. Abel comes back to Dar-es-Salaam after a many years studying in the United States to live with his uncle, a former government minister. His uncle introduce him to white corporate Michael Kauffmann, who finds him a job at a multi-national bank. But slowly things are not what it seems, and while under the tutelage of his boss Alpha Mbwana, Abel eventually uncovers a plot that throws his beliefs into question, and soon, even puts his life in danger.
