Involontaria - L'esame
A group of young cinephiles investigates the effects of Sirio Luginbühl's cinema, an unknown Italian anarchist director, on a heterogeneous group of people. Starting from 1968, Sirio Luginbühl began to shoot experimental films in the Veneto region territory. They were considered anarchists, provocateurs, subversives and dangerous. The director operates in total freedom, without receiving any financial help and the possibility of distributing his works. He makes a living working in other sectors and uses his art as a form of opposition to the commercial power, in an unequal battle against academic culture and conventional forms of thought. Over time, The memory of his cinema disappeared almost completely until when, in 2023, a group of young cinephiles discovered the archive of his films and decided to show them to a diverse audience of people, documenting their reactions. —Niccolò Orlando
