In the Konkan village Gharat Family has been celebrating Ganesh festival for 124 years where the whole family gathers for the same.But this time Bhau and Sharad and their respective wives Sunanda and Ahilya have decided that they will speak to their parents that from next year the Ganpati in their house will be just for one and a half day rather then seven days.Before that Sharad and Ahilya's son Ketan arrives with his girlfriend Kriti and introduces her as a friend to the family which many feel awkward.As the celebration begins ego's start to clash in the family where matters related to finance and personal things arise.Finally the Gharat family decides to cut short their celebrations for next year.
