A cowboy is framed for the murder of a rancher, which was committed by a landgrabber. The cowboy must clear his name and bring in the real killer. Cattleman Fred MItchell (Bruce Bennett) sends for Jack Lambert (Jack Randall) to help him in a range war started by Flint (John Merton) and Wallace (Wheeler Oakman), who are trying to buy up all the local ranches. Flint has Cliff (Lane Chandler) and Ed (Rex Lease) murder Fred, with the blame being put on Jack. He is jailed but escapes with the aid of little Jimmy Mitchell (Dickie Jones), and Jack trails and secures a confession from Ed.
