Two best friends So-so and Nancy are love-struck by the same handsome Japanese boy who cannot fulfill both girls' destinies. Two giggly schoolgirls fall for the same guy, a cute Japanese-Chinese boy. Five years pass, during which time the boy forms no part of their lives. One girl pursues a career, the other chases money via men. But they both still love the boy.
