To shed light on the meteoric rise to fame of the talented new pop idol Dimis Flerianos, portrayed by Giannis Floriniotis, an inquisitive TV reporter and her crew interview his family and circle of friends. And as the journalist traces the singer's history, the in-depth documentary foregrounds the current political and socio-economic status of early 1980s Greece, satirising the long-established traditions and institutions, cultural visions, political corruption, and the very essence of the then contemporary Greece. —Nick Riganas
