My father once told me that Eternia is the beating heart of the cosmos. And Grayskull is the heart of that heart. So I guess the heart of the heart of the heart is the Power of Grayskull. They say it can make a man as mighty as a god. To keep it safe, the Power was bound within a vessel. An ancient sword they called the Sword of Power. Yeah, I know, but that's what they went with. Legend said that when Eternia was in its greatest need, a hero would step forth and wield the Sword, and, you know, use it awesomely. Until that day, it was locked away within the castle under the watchful eye of the Sorceress, who was wise, and ancient, and a little scary, to be honest. But she's cool. She's cool. For hundreds of years, Grayskull has remained under the protection of my ancestors. See, I come from a pretty impressive lineage of mighty heroes. Noble, strong, fearless." [NARRATION_CLOSE: Prince Adam / He-Man (Nicholas Galitzine)] On the majestic planet Eternia, the sprawling capital city of Eternos surrounds Castle Grayskull, a fortress guarded by the Sorceress (Morena Baccarin) and housing the Sword of Power within. Young Prince Adam (Artie Wilkinson-Hunt) resists his mandatory combat training, preferring to stay home with his talking tiger cub, Cringer (Fletcher Glenn, voice). His mother, Queen Marlena (Charlotte Riley), sends him regardless, and at the training ground Duncan (Idris Elba), the King's Man-At-Arms and commander of the Royal Guard, presides over the session. King Randor (James Purefoy) arrives and observes his son goofing around with his best friend Teela (Eire Farrell), who is also Duncan's daughter. Randor steps onto the training ground and singles Adam out in front of the entire class, challenging him to a bout and then knocking him to the dirt, telling him: "This world is no place for the weak." He has spent the intervening years obsessively searching for the Sword and filling notebooks and walls with drawings and maps of Eternia to preserve the memory of his home. The next day, Adam goes to work at a human resources firm, where he spends time on the clock posting personal ads searching for the Sword. At a gym, a large older man known only as Macho Man (Dolph Lundgren) advises him to "get behind yourself, not in front," and wishes him a good journey. Later, his supervisor Suzie (Sasheer Zamata) calls him in and informs him that his work has suffered as a result of his obsession, and he will be terminated if he does not stop. At that moment Adam's phone vibrates with a response to one of his ads, stating his sword has been located. Adam rushes downtown to a comic book store, where the anonymous contact leads him to the Sword, currently affixed to a display statue. Adam struggles to pull it free as baffled staff and customers watch, eventually wrenching it loose. He holds it aloft and recites the incantation he remembers: "By the Power of Grayskull, I have to go home." Nothing happens, and Adam flees the store with the Sword. Back at the apartment, he begs the Sword to do something. It does not. The next morning, police officers Black (Max Kraus) and Blumenthal (Kelly Coughlin) arrive to arrest him for theft. The officers drive Adam away in their cruiser and are stopped on a highway by traffic. When they step out to investigate, the other motorists flee. She introduces Adam as the Prince of Eternia, but the assembled warriors reject the claim based on his bearing and speech. Adam recognizes each of them from his childhood drawings: Fisto (Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson), identified by his enormous mechanical fist; Ram Man (Jon Xue Zhang), armed with a ramming helmet; and Mekaneck (James Wilkinson), whose neck extends mechanically. He also recognizes Dian (Christiaan Bettridge), a guards-woman who used to bully him as a child, and Moss Man (Stephen Adentan). The warriors confiscate the Sword to examine it, and send both Adam and Teela to a holding cell while they deliberate. In the cell, Adam and Teela find an unconscious drunk and a large robot performing menial cleaning duties. Adam identifies the robot as a Class-4 Battlebot, the deadliest model ever engineered. The robot, designated Roboto (Kristen Wiig, voice), confirms the classification and corrects Adam's estimate of her battlefield value upward. Outside, the Royal Guard confirms the Sword is genuine, but before any further discussion is possible, Skeletor's forces storm the base. Through the cell door, Adam invites Roboto to join them and fight as the warrior she was built to be. She accepts and breaks the door. Teela insists they bring the unconscious man as well, who is in fact a long-sober Duncan, now deeply diminished by drink. They wake him; he is too intoxicated to walk. Roboto, who was reprogrammed into a domestic servant by Duncan after a near-fatal incident with her combat systems, carries him out as the four make their way through the chaos of the attack. They find Ram Man in the confusion; he returns the Sword and tells them to keep it away from Skeletor, who has arrived. They make it to the hangar, where Trap Jaw and a squad of enemy soldiers are waiting. Adam steps forward and attempts to talk Trap Jaw down, employing conflict resolution techniques. Trap Jaw attacks him. Adam is beaten to the floor. Teela and Duncan tell him to use the Sword. Adam sees a vision of the Sorceress reminding him of the incantation. With no other option, Adam raises the Sword and calls upon the Power of Grayskull. A wave of energy erupts and transforms him into the muscle-bound Champion of Grayskull. They narrowly evade Skeletor himself and lift off, but Skeletor's forces pursue. Adam dispatches enemy craft in the air while Teela evades, but the ship sustains too much damage and crash-lands in deep forest, separating the group. Meanwhile, Skeletor's forces round up the last of the free Eternians. Skeletor threatens to execute them one by one until someone identifies the Champion wielding the Sword. When they refuse, he executes Moss Man, then prepares to move to the next captive. Fisto steps forward and identifies the Champion as the long-lost Prince of Eternia. Skeletor orders all captives imprisoned while he considers how to draw Adam out. Teela, Duncan, and Roboto emerge from the wreck. Teela goes to find Adam and orders Duncan to remain behind, having taken up his duties as Man-At-Arms and no longer trusting him. Duncan searches through Teela's effects aboard the ship and finds his old gear. Adam wakes on the forest floor and sees a falcon perched on the Sword. The Sorceress (Morena Baccarin), speaking through the falcon, tells him he is destined to save Eternia. The falcon departs as Teela arrives and leads Adam back to the camp. She finds Duncan shaved and dressed in his old armor, holding a flask. She objects to any further drinking. Adam sits with Duncan, conflicted about the violence he inflicted on Trap Jaw and the soldiers. Duncan tells him that fighting when others cannot protect themselves is not mere violence; it is protection, and it is fought for the future of his people. Later, as Adam and Teela gather supplies, she confesses she has thought about him every day since he left. When Adam says the same, she walks back the implication, calling him a very good friend. That night, Skeletor's image appears in the sky. He reveals that King Randor and Queen Marlena have been kept alive and offers to trade them for the Sword. He instructs Adam to come to Snake Mountain and ends the transmission. Adam resolves immediately to go, not to surrender the Sword but to kill Skeletor and free his parents. In the throne room at the mountain's peak, Adam finds Skeletor on the balcony, and draws the Sword. Skeletor demonstrates his leverage: King Randor, positioned perilously close to the edge. Adam demands his father's release. Skeletor instead summons his personal guard, comprising Goat Man, Tri-Klops, Spikor (James Apps), Karg (Hung Dante Dong), and a full contingent of soldiers, with orders to take the Sword. The Champion of Grayskull fights the entire group, incapacitating most of them and killing the rest. He charges Skeletor. Evil-Lyn intervenes and freezes Adam in place with dark magic. Skeletor prepares to kill Randor with Adam's own Sword. Adam fights through the magical paralysis and fires a bolt of energy at Skeletor. Skeletor evades, but the blast collapses part of the ceiling onto Randor. Adam reaches his father. They reconcile. Adam says he has finally become the strong man Randor always wanted him to be. Randor tells him he never wanted him to change; he only saw how hard the world would be for his son and tried, in the only way he knew, to protect him. He apologizes for never saying so, and dies in Adam's arms. Skeletor takes the Sword and knocks the devastated Adam unconscious with his staff. Adam is thrown into the dungeon with the other Eternians. He is reunited with his mother, Queen Marlena. Both grieve the King. Above them, Skeletor raises the Sword and speaks the incantation, but the Power does not respond. Evil-Lyn informs him that if the Sword is returned to its altar at Castle Grayskull, Skeletor can claim the connection for himself through a ritual she can perform there. Adam reminds Duncan of the words Duncan once told him as a boy: when you fall, it is your chance to get back up and stand tall. Each bolstered by the other, they both rise. Teela enters with an old companion, Cringer (Tom Wilton, voice), now fully grown into a massive green tiger. Seeing the surviving heroes assembled around him, Adam hatches a plan. Duncan calls everyone together and Adam stands before them. He confirms that he is Prince of Eternia, that he was cast out to Earth but never stopped trying to return and never forgot the Eternians who fought on in his absence. He rallies them to take back their home, citing each hero by the childhood names he gave them. Ram Man notes that the cell bars are unbreakable, but Adam observes the surrounding stone is not. He asks Duncan to reverse Roboto's reprogramming so she can operate in battle mode once more. Skeletor arrives at the mouth of Castle Grayskull and orders his men to kill anyone who approaches, then goes inside with Evil-Lyn and Beast Man. At Snake Mountain, Duncan restores Roboto's battle systems. Roboto blasts at the stone anchoring the bars while all of the Eternians press against them together. The wall gives, and the imprisoned heroes overpower their guards and take the remaining ships to rush back to Eternos. The Royal Guard engages Skeletor's forces across the city while Adam, Teela, Duncan, Roboto, and Cringer are dropped on the bridge to Castle Grayskull. Duncan tells Teela to go with Adam and Cringer to stop Skeletor while he and Roboto hold off the reinforcements. He and Teela reconcile. Adam encourages a reluctant Cringer to become the Battle Cat he was born to be. Cringer yields, and they ride toward the castle while Duncan and Roboto stand against the incoming army together. Inside, Skeletor replaces the Sword on the altar. Before he can enact the ritual, Adam, Teela, and Cringer storm through the guards and enter the sanctuary. Adam dismounts and takes back the Sword. Skeletor pronounces Eternia nothing but a dream Adam could never live up to, and impales Adam with the broken Sword. As Adam lies dying, the Sorceress pulls him into another dreamscape. She tells him to get back up. Adam says he cannot; the Sword is destroyed and the Power is gone. The Sorceress directs him to the champion's incantation: "By the Power of Grayskull, I have the Power." She tells him the Sword is only a conduit. It is Adam himself who was chosen as the vessel of the Power. In past champions, the Power manifested as brute strength. In Adam, she saw compassion, empathy, and a drive to protect the innocent alongside the strength, and knew he was worthy. She heals his wound. Adam wakes inside Grayskull, shocking both Skeletor and Teela. He pulls the broken Sword from his chest as the wound closes. The Sword reassembles itself in his hand. He speaks the incantation and transforms. The lightning that erupts from the transformation is visible across the battlefield, and the sight of it rallies the Eternians fighting in the city. Adam does not attack immediately. He offers Skeletor the opportunity to end the conflict and choose another path. Skeletor rejects the offer, declaring himself a villain who likes what he is just fine, and attacks. They duel in the heart of the castle. Skeletor pins the Champion and taunts him for holding back, for being too frightened to use the Power fully. Adam tells him he has been holding back, then goes on the offensive with full force, driving Skeletor to the floor with bare-handed strikes. He tells Skeletor his chance is gone, crushes the Staff of Havoc, and the resulting destruction disintegrates Skeletor, leaving behind only an empty skull. Evil-Lyn and Beast Man slip away during the battle. Outside, Duncan finds Roboto's head barely still functioning and sits with it. The others join him as the Eternians celebrate the reclamation of Eternos. Six months later, the city is rebuilt and Queen Marlena has been returned to the throne as the ruling monarch of Eternia. Citizens celebrate in the streets. On the bridge of Castle Grayskull, the heroes of Eternia gather to meet a newly rebuilt Roboto and Adam's former housemate Hussein, who is delighted to see for himself that everything Adam told him was true. Teela asks Adam how it feels to see the heroes from his childhood drawings standing in the flesh before him, then asks whether he ever came up with a name for her. He admits he did: "Warrior Goddess." She asks if he came up with one for himself, and he reluctantly reveals it: "He-Man." Roboto receives a distress call from a distant Avion village. Teela tells Adam it sounds like a job for He-Man. Adam runs off with Cringer to transform, and the gathered heroes watch He-Man and Battle Cat ride out. Queen Marlena tells Duncan that she had given up hope of seeing either of her children again. Duncan says that perhaps her daughter will return to her someday. During the credits, Orko (Christopher Ragland) appears to deliver a brief moral address to the audience, observing that muscles do not necessarily make a man, and that having a skull for a face is a fairly reliable indicator of villainy. After the credits, Evil-Lyn (Alison Brie) returns to Castle Grayskull and retrieves Skeletor's skull. As she departs, Skeletor's laughter is heard emanating from it. In a separate mid-credits scene, somewhere far from Eternia, a man calls out to Force Captain Adora (Lauren Saliu). She corrects him: that is not who she is anymore. She raises a large Sword aloft, and the Power transforms her into a super-powered hero.

Adam returns to his apartment and his housemate Hussein (Christian Vunipola), who advises him to stop telling people a story that everyone in his life has attributed to psychosis brought on by the traumatic death of his parents. Adam insists it is all real. He has spent the intervening years obsessively searching for the Sword and filling notebooks and walls with drawings and maps of Eternia to preserve the memory of his home.
The next day, Adam goes to work at a human resources firm, where he spends time on the clock posting personal ads searching for the Sword. At a gym, a large older man known only as Macho Man (Dolph Lundgren) advises him to "get behind yourself, not in front," and wishes him a good journey. Later, his supervisor Suzie (Sasheer Zamata) calls him in and informs him that his work has suffered as a result of his obsession, and he will be terminated if he does not stop.
At that moment Adam's phone vibrates with a response to one of his ads, stating his sword has been located. Adam rushes downtown to a comic book store, where the anonymous contact leads him to the Sword, currently affixed to a display statue. Adam struggles to pull it free as baffled staff and customers watch, eventually wrenching it loose. He holds it aloft and recites the incantation he remembers: "By the Power of Grayskull, I have to go home." Nothing happens, and Adam flees the store with the Sword.
Back at the apartment, he begs the Sword to do something. It does not. The next morning, police officers Black (Max Kraus) and Blumenthal (Kelly Coughlin) arrive to arrest him for theft. The officers drive Adam away in their cruiser and are stopped on a highway by traffic.
When they step out to investigate, the other motorists flee. Adam watches from the back seat as Beast Man (Gary Martin), a massive ape-like creature, rampages toward the vehicle. Beast Man attacks Adam, pursuing him as he tries to run with the Sword.
Before Beast Man can finish him, he is shot down by a young warrior: Teela (Camila Mendes). They reunite. Teela reveals that both she and Beast Man followed a signal emitted by the Sword when Adam raised it, and asks why he waited fifteen years to do so.
Adam admits he lost the Sword the night he arrived on Earth. Beast Man recovers and charges again; Teela fights him as they retreat to her ship in the middle of the city. They take off before he can reach them and travel through a portal back to Eternia. During the journey, Teela tells Adam that she and all of Eternia believed him dead.
Adam asks about his parents. She confirms that Skeletor took them on the night of the invasion, and they have not been seen since. When they arrive at Eternos, they find it reduced to ash and ruin.
One of Skeletor's spies, Tri-Klops (Kojo Attah), spots them from the wreckage. At Snake Mountain, Skeletor's fortress, his chief lieutenant Evil-Lyn (Alison Brie) reports to Skeletor that Beast Man has returned from Earth without the Sword, which Teela has taken. Skeletor acknowledges that even with his Staff of Havoc, his vast army, and all the power he commands, none of it is secure so long as the Sword remains out of his grasp.
He means to be a god, not merely a king, and the Sword is the instrument of that ambition. Teela takes Adam to a subterranean base where the surviving Eternians operate a resistance led by what remains of the Royal Guard. She introduces Adam as the Prince of Eternia, but the assembled warriors reject the claim based on his bearing and speech. Adam recognizes each of them from his childhood drawings: Fisto (Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson), identified by his enormous mechanical fist; Ram Man (Jon Xue Zhang), armed with a ramming helmet; and Mekaneck (James Wilkinson), whose neck extends mechanically.
He also recognizes Dian (Christiaan Bettridge), a guards-woman who used to bully him as a child, and Moss Man (Stephen Adentan). The warriors confiscate the Sword to examine it, and send both Adam and Teela to a holding cell while they deliberate. In the cell, Adam and Teela find an unconscious drunk and a large robot performing menial cleaning duties. Adam identifies the robot as a Class-4 Battlebot, the deadliest model ever engineered.
The robot, designated Roboto (Kristen Wiig, voice), confirms the classification and corrects Adam's estimate of her battlefield value upward. Outside, the Royal Guard confirms the Sword is genuine, but before any further discussion is possible, Skeletor's forces storm the base. Through the cell door, Adam invites Roboto to join them and fight as the warrior she was built to be.
She accepts and breaks the door. Teela insists they bring the unconscious man as well, who is in fact a long-sober Duncan, now deeply diminished by drink. They wake him; he is too intoxicated to walk.
Roboto, who was reprogrammed into a domestic servant by Duncan after a near-fatal incident with her combat systems, carries him out as the four make their way through the chaos of the attack. They find Ram Man in the confusion; he returns the Sword and tells them to keep it away from Skeletor, who has arrived. They make it to the hangar, where Trap Jaw and a squad of enemy soldiers are waiting. Adam steps forward and attempts to talk Trap Jaw down, employing conflict resolution techniques.
Trap Jaw attacks him. Adam is beaten to the floor. Teela and Duncan tell him to use the Sword.
Adam sees a vision of the Sorceress reminding him of the incantation. With no other option, Adam raises the Sword and calls upon the Power of Grayskull. A wave of energy erupts and transforms him into the muscle-bound Champion of Grayskull.
He faces Trap Jaw directly, withstands his cannon arm's fire, rips the cannon free, and turns it on the remaining soldiers. He, Teela, Duncan, and Roboto board Teela's ship. They narrowly evade Skeletor himself and lift off, but Skeletor's forces pursue.
Adam dispatches enemy craft in the air while Teela evades, but the ship sustains too much damage and crash-lands in deep forest, separating the group. Meanwhile, Skeletor's forces round up the last of the free Eternians. Skeletor threatens to execute them one by one until someone identifies the Champion wielding the Sword. When they refuse, he executes Moss Man, then prepares to move to the next captive.
Fisto steps forward and identifies the Champion as the long-lost Prince of Eternia. Skeletor orders all captives imprisoned while he considers how to draw Adam out. Teela, Duncan, and Roboto emerge from the wreck. Teela goes to find Adam and orders Duncan to remain behind, having taken up his duties as Man-At-Arms and no longer trusting him.
Duncan searches through Teela's effects aboard the ship and finds his old gear. Adam wakes on the forest floor and sees a falcon perched on the Sword. The Sorceress (Morena Baccarin), speaking through the falcon, tells him he is destined to save Eternia.
The falcon departs as Teela arrives and leads Adam back to the camp. She finds Duncan shaved and dressed in his old armor, holding a flask. She objects to any further drinking.
Adam sits with Duncan, conflicted about the violence he inflicted on Trap Jaw and the soldiers. Duncan tells him that fighting when others cannot protect themselves is not mere violence; it is protection, and it is fought for the future of his people. Later, as Adam and Teela gather supplies, she confesses she has thought about him every day since he left.
When Adam says the same, she walks back the implication, calling him a very good friend. That night, Skeletor's image appears in the sky. He reveals that King Randor and Queen Marlena have been kept alive and offers to trade them for the Sword. He instructs Adam to come to Snake Mountain and ends the transmission.
Adam resolves immediately to go, not to surrender the Sword but to kill Skeletor and free his parents. Teela argues strongly against walking into Skeletor's fortress, but Adam says that now that he carries the Power, he must use it. He will go with or without them.
All three, along with Roboto, choose to accompany him. They trek to the volcanic wastes and arrive at Snake Mountain's gate. Adam announces himself and demands Skeletor. His companions are separated and taken to the dungeon while he is escorted to the throne room by Goat Man (Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson), Skeletor's brutish enforcer.
In the throne room at the mountain's peak, Adam finds Skeletor on the balcony, and draws the Sword. Skeletor demonstrates his leverage: King Randor, positioned perilously close to the edge. Adam demands his father's release.
Skeletor instead summons his personal guard, comprising Goat Man, Tri-Klops, Spikor (James Apps), Karg (Hung Dante Dong), and a full contingent of soldiers, with orders to take the Sword. The Champion of Grayskull fights the entire group, incapacitating most of them and killing the rest. He charges Skeletor.
Evil-Lyn intervenes and freezes Adam in place with dark magic. Skeletor prepares to kill Randor with Adam's own Sword. Adam fights through the magical paralysis and fires a bolt of energy at Skeletor.
Skeletor evades, but the blast collapses part of the ceiling onto Randor. Adam reaches his father. They reconcile. Adam says he has finally become the strong man Randor always wanted him to be.
Randor tells him he never wanted him to change; he only saw how hard the world would be for his son and tried, in the only way he knew, to protect him. He apologizes for never saying so, and dies in Adam's arms. Skeletor takes the Sword and knocks the devastated Adam unconscious with his staff. Adam is thrown into the dungeon with the other Eternians.
He is reunited with his mother, Queen Marlena. Both grieve the King. Above them, Skeletor raises the Sword and speaks the incantation, but the Power does not respond.
Evil-Lyn informs him that if the Sword is returned to its altar at Castle Grayskull, Skeletor can claim the connection for himself through a ritual she can perform there. He leaves for Grayskull at once. In the dungeon, Duncan finds Adam and tells him that he knows what it is to fail, to be unable to face his daughter every day with the weight of his own inadequacy, and to turn to drink rather than feel it.
Adam reminds Duncan of the words Duncan once told him as a boy: when you fall, it is your chance to get back up and stand tall. Each bolstered by the other, they both rise. Teela enters with an old companion, Cringer (Tom Wilton, voice), now fully grown into a massive green tiger.
Seeing the surviving heroes assembled around him, Adam hatches a plan. Duncan calls everyone together and Adam stands before them. He confirms that he is Prince of Eternia, that he was cast out to Earth but never stopped trying to return and never forgot the Eternians who fought on in his absence.
He rallies them to take back their home, citing each hero by the childhood names he gave them. Ram Man notes that the cell bars are unbreakable, but Adam observes the surrounding stone is not. He asks Duncan to reverse Roboto's reprogramming so she can operate in battle mode once more. Skeletor arrives at the mouth of Castle Grayskull and orders his men to kill anyone who approaches, then goes inside with Evil-Lyn and Beast Man.
At Snake Mountain, Duncan restores Roboto's battle systems. Roboto blasts at the stone anchoring the bars while all of the Eternians press against them together. The wall gives, and the imprisoned heroes overpower their guards and take the remaining ships to rush back to Eternos.
The Royal Guard engages Skeletor's forces across the city while Adam, Teela, Duncan, Roboto, and Cringer are dropped on the bridge to Castle Grayskull. Duncan tells Teela to go with Adam and Cringer to stop Skeletor while he and Roboto hold off the reinforcements. He and Teela reconcile.
Adam encourages a reluctant Cringer to become the Battle Cat he was born to be. Cringer yields, and they ride toward the castle while Duncan and Roboto stand against the incoming army together. Inside, Skeletor replaces the Sword on the altar. Before he can enact the ritual, Adam, Teela, and Cringer storm through the guards and enter the sanctuary.
Adam dismounts and takes back the Sword. Cringer faces Beast Man, Teela takes on Evil-Lyn, and Adam confronts Skeletor. Outside, Duncan and Roboto find themselves severely outnumbered.
Duncan uses Roboto's last rocket to collapse a section of the bridge, cutting off the bulk of the army. Trap Jaw then arrives in a gunship, repaired, and opens fire, destroying Roboto. Duncan seizes the gunship and attacks Trap Jaw directly, breaking his mechanical jaw open.
He lodges a grenade inside and leaps clear as Trap Jaw's gunship explodes. In the keep, Adam dodges Skeletor's attacks while Teela and Cringer hold their opponents. Skeletor fires a killing bolt from his Staff of Havoc. Adam blocks it with the Sword, but the force is too great and the Sword shatters.
Skeletor grabs hold of Adam and draws him into a nightmarescape built from Adam's own memories of exile on Earth: a life of embarrassment, estrangement, and futility, a boy too weak to stand up for himself, too strange to belong, living a worthless existence on an alien world while his home burned. Skeletor pronounces Eternia nothing but a dream Adam could never live up to, and impales Adam with the broken Sword. As Adam lies dying, the Sorceress pulls him into another dreamscape. She tells him to get back up.
Adam says he cannot; the Sword is destroyed and the Power is gone. The Sorceress directs him to the champion's incantation: "By the Power of Grayskull, I have the Power." She tells him the Sword is only a conduit. It is Adam himself who was chosen as the vessel of the Power.
In past champions, the Power manifested as brute strength. In Adam, she saw compassion, empathy, and a drive to protect the innocent alongside the strength, and knew he was worthy. She heals his wound.
Adam wakes inside Grayskull, shocking both Skeletor and Teela. He pulls the broken Sword from his chest as the wound closes. The Sword reassembles itself in his hand.
He speaks the incantation and transforms. The lightning that erupts from the transformation is visible across the battlefield, and the sight of it rallies the Eternians fighting in the city. Adam does not attack immediately. He offers Skeletor the opportunity to end the conflict and choose another path.
Skeletor rejects the offer, declaring himself a villain who likes what he is just fine, and attacks. They duel in the heart of the castle. Skeletor pins the Champion and taunts him for holding back, for being too frightened to use the Power fully.
Adam tells him he has been holding back, then goes on the offensive with full force, driving Skeletor to the floor with bare-handed strikes. He tells Skeletor his chance is gone, crushes the Staff of Havoc, and the resulting destruction disintegrates Skeletor, leaving behind only an empty skull. Evil-Lyn and Beast Man slip away during the battle.
Outside, Duncan finds Roboto's head barely still functioning and sits with it. The others join him as the Eternians celebrate the reclamation of Eternos. Six months later, the city is rebuilt and Queen Marlena has been returned to the throne as the ruling monarch of Eternia. Citizens celebrate in the streets.
On the bridge of Castle Grayskull, the heroes of Eternia gather to meet a newly rebuilt Roboto and Adam's former housemate Hussein, who is delighted to see for himself that everything Adam told him was true. Teela asks Adam how it feels to see the heroes from his childhood drawings standing in the flesh before him, then asks whether he ever came up with a name for her. He admits he did: "Warrior Goddess." She asks if he came up with one for himself, and he reluctantly reveals it: "He-Man." Roboto receives a distress call from a distant Avion village.
Teela tells Adam it sounds like a job for He-Man. Adam runs off with Cringer to transform, and the gathered heroes watch He-Man and Battle Cat ride out. Queen Marlena tells Duncan that she had given up hope of seeing either of her children again.
Duncan says that perhaps her daughter will return to her someday. During the credits, Orko (Christopher Ragland) appears to deliver a brief moral address to the audience, observing that muscles do not necessarily make a man, and that having a skull for a face is a fairly reliable indicator of villainy. After the credits, Evil-Lyn (Alison Brie) returns to Castle Grayskull and retrieves Skeletor's skull. As she departs, Skeletor's laughter is heard emanating from it. In a separate mid-credits scene, somewhere far from Eternia, a man calls out to Force Captain Adora (Lauren Saliu). She corrects him: that is not who she is anymore.
She raises a large Sword aloft, and the Power transforms her into a super-powered hero..
