Genre: Documentary Origin: Italy Director: Massimo Dallaglio Year: 2024 Duration: 95 minutes Music and orchestration: Marco Gatti and Rocco Editor: Michele Cristiano for Kibo.it and Francesco Mantovani The soundtrack of the docufilm La Montagna Magica - Il Mistero di Bismantova will be sung at 432 Hz The Magic Mountain. The Mystery of Bismantova is the first investigative documentary film entirely dedicated to the Pietra di Bismantova, an incredible and enigmatic relief with unique geological and historical features, located in the heart of the National Park of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines in the province of Reggio Emilia, and immortalized in five famous verses of the fourth canto of Dante's 'Purgatory': "Vassi in Sanleo and descendesi in Noli, montasi su Bismantova e 'n cacume With it the feet; but here it behooves man to fly." A true 'sacred' mountain, on a par with Ayers Rock in Australia and few other natural monuments in the world, which is narrated by its leading experts in every field: geology, archaeology, history, literature, sports and mysterious phenomena. The docu-film will show rare finds and disclose discoveries and acquisitions hitherto unknown to the uninitiated. Conceived by Massimo Dallaglio (Director, Director of Photography and publicist journalist with a degree in sociology), written by Francesco Gerardi (Professional journalist and teacher of philosophy and history in high schools), The Magic Mountain - The Mystery of Bismantova boasts spectacular images, shot in 4k and with the help of drones thanks to DVisions. The authors' intent is to bring this wonder of nature to a much wider national and international audience (an English version will also be made) in the belief that the Bismantova Stone represents a still undiscovered treasure with enormous and unexpressed cultural, tourist and commercial potential.
