Moudjahidate
Through interviews with former women combatants, this documentary recounts women's involvement and commitment to the struggle for Independence in Algeria. This documentary retraces the commitments of women in the struggles for the independence of Algeria, within the FLN-ALN (National Liberation Front - National Liberation Army) through stories of the lives of former combatants. They are bombers, liaison officers, nurses and soldiers of the bush, or in active solidarity with political prisoners. All these mujahideen also evoke village women, who provided accommodation and supplies for FLN fighters... The forms of commitment of women are multiple, as are their "social identities". So how did they start to "activate"? What are their roles and strategies in the different places of struggle? How do they view this period and what do they have to pass on to us? These testimonies are articulated with that of the historian and herself a veteran, Danièle Djamila Amrane Minne.
