My Man Godfrey

The spoiled daughter of a rich American family hires as butler an Austrian vagrant she finds on a pier, without knowing that he illegally jumped ship. The eccentric Bullock household again need a new butler. Daughter Irene encounters bedraggled Godfrey Smith at the docks and, fancying him and noticing his obviously good manners, gets him the job.
