In a boat at mid-sea, many are no more but a small Sri Lankan boy is found by a fisherman from Tamil Nadu who brings him to India. This little boy`s character has been played by Vishnu. `Neer Paravai` essentially follows the life of fishermen who dwell in the coastal villages in Tamil Nadu. The film stars National award winning actress, Nanditha Das who has a significant role in the film. Apart from the depicting the hardships fishermen face, the film also contains an interesting love story between it`s leading actors.
