In a small village, a young and courageous blacksmith named Mikes lives a quiet life. However, his world is turned upside down when he learns of a terrible curse: three beautiful princesses have been kidnapped by a fearsome giant and are being held captive in a distant, enchanted castle. Determined to rescue the princesses and restore peace to the land, Mikes sets out on a perilous journey. Along the way, he is joined by two friends, Václav and Matej, who, like Mikes, are driven by a sense of justice and bravery. Together, the trio faces numerous challenges, including navigating through dark forests, crossing treacherous mountains, and outwitting dangerous creatures. As they draw closer to the castle, the adventurers encounter an ugly and malevolent witch who serves the giant. She tries to thwart their progress with her dark magic, but Mikes and his friends, using their wit and courage, manage to overcome her wicked schemes. Finally, the group reaches the giant's castle. After a fierce battle, Mikes confronts the giant, relying on his blacksmithing strength and bravery to defeat the monstrous foe. With the giant vanquished, the curse is broken, and the three princesses are freed. The story concludes with a joyful return to the village, where the heroes are celebrated for their bravery. Mikes, in particular, wins the heart of the most beautiful princess, and they prepare to live happily ever after. The film ends on a triumphant note, highlighting the power of courage, friendship, and the determination to do what is right.
