On the Count of Three
Love pays no mind to age or place. We can never know when, and where, we'll find it. We can fall in love in kindergarten, on the street, in a park. Whenever and wherever. Josef (Boleslav Polivka) is excited to retire and finally fulfill his old dream of becoming a street clown. What he doesn't know is that his clowning will result in him meeting energetic Maruska (Eliska Balzerova), the owner of a travelling bike coffee shop. It's as if the two were looking for one another their whole lives, but isn't it too late to fall in love now? On top of all that, Josef's daughter Anicka (Jana Pidrmanova) and her five-year-old son Honzik have just moved into Josef's villa. She's decided that she's done with men but meeting her old flame and neighbor Pavel (Matous Ruml) touches her heart and starts changing her mind. Honzik also gets a new classmate in kindergarten, a small girl named Alenka. He experiences feelings connected to love for the first time and, not quite knowing what to do, collects advice from his mom, grandpa Josef, or friendly uncle Karel (VladimÃr Polivka), who also finds love in kindergarten when he meets HonzÃk's teacher Eliska (Kristyna Svarinska). As if that wasn't enough, Karel's basset hound Valecek seems to like Eliska's basset hound Salina quite a lot. Love brings hope and beauty with it, but also complications and obstacles. It is up to our heroes to overcome them with good will and a smile.
