After he captures him he lets him go realizing he is innocent and it's not long before the real outlaws show their hand. —Maurice VanAuken <mvanauken@a1access.net> Roy Rogers (Roy Rogers), a young rancher, who has countersigned a note for his musician friends, The Sons of the Pioneers (Sons of the Pioneers),is told by the holder of the note, Silas MacIntyre (Wheaton Chambers) that they cannot pay it off. Royis granted a two-week extension and rides off to see his friends who are owners of the "Great Southwestern Tent Shows." He learns that wherever they play robberies happen, usually oil company payroll offices. It is suspected there is some connection between the show and the hold-ups. Suspicion points toward a gypsy named Ricco Tito Guízar).
