Where is the Mexica Nation after the Spanish Invasion? What is a Mexica? What happened to all the great knowledge of the Aztec/Mexica Empire? These are some of the questions that 13 Great Teachers of the Mexica Tradition attempt to answer. 500 years have passed since the Spanish invaded Mexico. Since then, the Mexica culture had to hide their knowledge in both, academic and oral tradition. Some people believe that the Mexica people are lost forever in an inevitable racial mixture now called Mestizos, however, others believe that the term "Mexica" does not apply to a specific genetic race, but to a "way of seeing the world". This documentary attempts to evaluate different perspectives towards the present and future of the heritage of the mighty Aztec Empire. Can we define today a resurrection of the Mexica Nation?
