In 1990s China, a northern cop joins forces with a local detective in the southern city of Binhai to track down a ruthless gang responsible for a string of violent robberies. A battle of wits ensues between law enforcement and criminals. The Binhai Bank was the site of a violent robbery led by Zhuang Zhiqiang and his armed and masked gang. These criminals were extremely time-conscious, able to complete the heist in a mere two minutes and cunningly escape before the police arrived. They were ruthless and had no qualms about killing innocent people, even going so far as to "finish off" fallen accomplices. They even engaged in a large-scale gun battle with the police, displaying their flagrant and unbridled violence. On the other side, led by Detective Song Hai, the Binhai police bravely fought back against the criminals' brazen provocations. Through continuous deduction and investigation, they finally captured valuable clues and began the ultimate operation to bring down the entire gang.
