Bewildered and bemused Savin wakes a fortnight later in a stark white room where shadows and voices beckon him. Certain that the fate reminder in his skull is now fracturing his psyche he seeks help from a pretty young counselor. Sebastian begins to keep a detailed journal of life events as he tries to determine reality or is it realities? His 'white room' sessions lead him to uncover a murder. Growing accustomed to his strange world he is obsessed to find out what happened. His diligence leads him to uncover the name of Henry. Scrounging for clues to find more details on the man. He encounters a young woman named Renata who knew Leena. Renata's account of her relationship is stilted and raises his suspicions. As he parts company with her, he overhears a woman ask her how her brother Henry is and whether he is still unattached. Sebastian is randomly pulled into the shadows and encounters the Oshun. The strange woman's ramblings and odd behavior though disconcerting provide breadcrumbs for his investigation and a challenge to his sanity. The local FBI office wants to consult with him on a special project. After some convincing, he agrees to meet with the FBI special liaisons. After passing through more than the normal level of security. He sits in front of a stark matronly special agent. She places a file in front of him labeled, "WHITE ROOM."
