Rising Sun
One day, during my stay in China, I decided to film one of my nocturnal wanderings. In North-Shanghai, there's a park where people walk, dance, sing or do nothing. I wanted to lose myself watching them. Not trying to understand, but just listen and observe. Not being afraid to drift, to get closer to the unknown. Let it flow. Feel the atmosphere surrounding me. I gave myself two limits: the space (inside and around the park) and time (a one hour tape) in which I'd try to use the camera as a pencil, a brush, an extension of my body. —Anonymous
