Roger Bornemann - Tod eines Skinheads
About a young man who slips into the neo-Nazi and criminal milieu at the age of 14, wants to get out at 17 and, after extensive statements to the police, is beaten to death by friendly skinheads. The lifeless body lay crooked on the fence of the playground in the city forest of Hanover. The trodden snow around it was red with blood. The police quickly identified the victim as the 17-year-old Hanoverian student Gerd-Roger Bornemann, the perpetrators were also quickly identified: four friends of the boy, skinheads like himself, 17 and 18 years old, except for one unemployed and from broken families, all known to the police for other crimes. The four kicked Bornemann, threw him to the ground, and jumped on his head with their combat boots. —Ulf Kjell Gür
