A wild yet life-saving friendship is born. Nicole has cerebral palsy and wants to be like any other girl: go to university, go to parties, fall in love. But her life consists of online classes and shifts at the small-town grocery store run by her loving, overprotective adoptive parents. One day she boards a train to the university in Bologna on her own. Just outside the campus she meets Marta, an impulsive law student who is behind on her degree and has run out of money for the rent. The two make a deal: Nicole will pay the rent for both of them with her disability allowance and, in return, Marta will be her caregiver from Monday to Friday. Between parties, exams and first experiences their life together begins, until Nicole discovers that Marta is not who she claims to be.
